History

Bill Jansen's 1934 Ford 4 door Sedan

I bought this 1934 Ford Sedan for the huge sum of $60 with the only bodywork required was the fitting of the top insert and a coat of primer. The only body modification was the

recessing of the firewall. The chassis was swapped with the one  from a 34 roadster which had been found in Flynn's Wreckers as Hiboy Roadster. Later on the Roadster had it's chassis modified to late model running gear including a 9" rear and railway girder style radius rods.I obtained the roadster in a swap for a for a 57 Oldsmobile which I had purchased for $20 True.

The roadster ended being restored  in Victoria and the Oldsmobile ended being cut in half and stored under a house in Sydney.

The Engine and transmission used in this car came from my 29 Ford Roadster. This 34 Ford ended up costing $700 to build. I drove it around for about 12 Months then sold it to a person from Sydney who changed into a Sedan Delivery without a rear door It ended being owned by Terry Bailey from Moree who finished up putting the chassis under his 34 Ford Coupe
