History

Iain Leitch's 1930 A Ford Roadster Pickup

The chassis, cowl, doors and bonnet came from Bega NSW Pickup bed and rear cab section imported from USA. The build-up was started in late 1980 and it was driven to 1987 Street Rod Nationals in Canberra with the Pickup registered in Dec 1987. It has been on the road ever since and still never finished always something to change or make neater. Biggest problem was finding the rare parts. Iain moved out of Canberra to Castlemaine in Vic before moving again to Griffith NSW taking  the roadster with him and still owns it to this day. It has been a very reliable rod and has probably covered around 60,000 km.
