History

Iain Leitch's 1948 Studebaker Pickup

The Pickup came from Harboard NSW in 1978. A total rebuild was done with the help from Rod Dean & Neil Ide. It was driven to the 1979 Street Rod Nationals in Albury, and sold not long afterwards. Later, it was bought back, painted red, and a new engine installed just before Valla Rod Run. The Pickup won top burnout at Valla. Powatone Exhaust hassled me till I sold it to them as a shop truck. They drove it for a couple of years before selling it to a Victorian rodder.

It now resides in a shed  outside Shepparton, Victoria, in a poor state after an accident with a parked car.
