Tuesday 17th Feb 2009 Terry Falkingham from the CHRA organised a
'Beer Run' to the Zierholz Premium Brewery, Unit 7 19-25 Kembla St,
Fyshwick. It was a great social evening which kicked off at 7pm.
What better way to spend a Tuesday evening than cruising to a German
brewery in your Rod, settling in for a few premium German
beers with mates and then cruising home again? |

Summary by Terry:
Well what a great evening Tuesday the 17th turned out to be
for those who ventured out in their rodz to attend the ‘Cruize De Booze’.
While I didn’t get out to count the rodz in the car park it was
pleasing to see that quite a few turned up, if I had to take a stab in the
dark I’d say about 15 rodz. The owner of the ‘Zierholtz Brewery’
Cameron was wrapped in the turn out, must have been over 30 people
attend. His appreciation was shown in what seemed to be a never
ending supply of bar snacks (Free of course). Cameron, and I think it was
his wife, also chose their 3 favourite rods (didn’t bloody well pick mine)
the winner being Chez (3 free pints of beer and a T Shirt) and 3rd was
shared between Stumpy and GT (1 free pint each and a T Shirt) actually GT
just wanted the free Pint so I heard! Paul Grech got third (1 free pints
of beer and a T Shirt).
We all stayed until stumps (no pun intended Stumpy) about 9pm.
The president of the CHRA was overheard to say ‘ I’ve just found the new
meeting room for our CHRA meetings’ now I’m not sure if Roy was
joking or not but Cameron (Zierholtz) was not when he said ‘he would most
definitely have us back and that we could hold our meetings
there’. Hmmmmm Roy looks like you have a decision
to make!!!
Choco and Vicki where were you?????????
