Purchased from Simon Brown in 1999, straight after selling my trusty old
chopped, channelled 36 Ford Coupe to Damen Air (Adelaide HotRodders) at
the Geelong Nats.
Home made grille to replace the ugly Mopar grille
The engine for the Plymouth is a 360 Mopar, Tunnel rammed EFI, twin
900cfm throttle bodies and a Mr Gasket bug scoop. Engine Management System
is Kalmaker.
All set up and installed after painting the firewall. Transmission is
727 TF, full manual, reverse pattern shift built by Auto Drive, Fyshwick.
Diff is 9", 28 spline, Trak Lok and 3.5 gears, built bt Southern
Diffs, Phillip.
Exhaust system built by Neil Muir (Fyshwick Exhausts) and includes
McCord Power Plates.
Boris from Street Machine Magazine couldn't help himself. Nothing like
the Milk Crate test to get you all enthused!
Complete interior , including manufacturing a set of hood bows, was all
done by Rob Pegg. Material is violet suede.
Shorty assisted with some of the panel work.
GT did most of the body work and all of the paint in my garage. The
paint colour is Choco Purple.
Almost finished.
