The ACT Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
|
|
| The ACT Technical Advisory Committee was
formed in the late 1970s to be the conduit between rodders and the
registration authorities in the ACT. Today, the role of the TAC has not
changed, but the necessity of their presence has been acknowledged by
the ASRF. |
| This page is dedicated to providing CHRA
members with information on registration for Hot Rods/Street Rods in the
ACT that comes from the chairman of the TAC, Alan Cooper. With Alan's
assistance, the CHRA Webmaster will build on these pages to ensure the
information is up to date and accurate. |
| Traditionally, the TAC is made up of members
from all pre 1948 interest groups, although the CHRA has no
"official" member in the TAC ranks at this time. Vacancies do
exist, however. Currently, the TAC comprises the following members: |
| Alan Cooper |
Chairman |
6288 8549 |
| Greg Redman |
|
| Mal Lawler |
|
| Peter Cochrane |
|
| Garth Edwards |
|
|
|
|
As of April 2004, the ACT has adopted the NATIONAL
GUIDELINES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND MODIFICATION OF STREET RODS IN AUSTRALIA
|
|
You should contact the TAC for more info. The new procedures will be
published here shortly.
